Shamanism and Transmutation.

I’ve been sitting on this post for weeks now. Which suggests I’m in the throes of transformation, or rather transmutation.

Coming to Kauai to learn Shamanism was a completely channeled endeavour. And by channeled I mean – I was walking through the botanical gardens, was stopped dead in my tracks, and the message came through – “It’s time to leave and learn”.  It took 48 hours for the rest of the information to download.

As I’ve learnt and continue to learn, Kauai is a place of incredible healing. Her energy is potent. The jungle. The coastline. The weather shifting at a moment’s notice. A volcanic presence. The people with their aloha smiles.

I’m spending time either learning or on my own. I manifested a granny flat, nestled amongst the trees – it’s got everything I need, my own little hideaway. I’m choosing space to truly see where I’m at with everything.

And the Shamanic stuff. It’s rad. Seriously so rad. I honestly can’t wait to share my learnings here and in clinic. I shared an incredible Skype session with a client only a few days back, where mid session it muscle tested for a ‘journey’ to be done. As it was the first time I’d mixed the two modalities in a session I asked my client to meditate for 5 minutes and I would call her back, once I was done receiving the info.

Off we went…

When I came back on the call and explained what I saw and what I was told – I was met with a gasp.

As it worked out we had both been connecting in with the exact same image and info. It was truly magical.

While it won’t come as a surprise, I’m learning these skills not just for sessions, but also for me. I’ve reached a point with this craft where certain things need to fall away and other things need to come together. I am deep in this process at the moment.

For those who don’t know a lot about Shamanism, I certainly didn’t…

“It is the oldest spiritual practice known to human kind. What we know is that it dates back 100, 000 years if not more. It was a spiritual practice practiced by all people around the world. It’s a powerful practice to get spiritual information but it’s also a way of life. It’s a way of learning to live that’s in harmony and balance with nature.”

“A powerful practice to get spiritual information.”

Shamanism uses a technique where we ‘journey’. To the lower world. To the upper world. Meet power animals. Teachers. Spirit guides. Amazingly accurate sources of information.

And

“… it’s also a way of life.”

At present I’m shedding my old ways of being. These manifest in addictions of various kinds and habits and patterns that keep me on a lower vibration, a lower vibration that is familiar and safe. Except I’ve reached a point where this vibration is simply too painful to exist in.

And so I’m in a process of transmutation – “the state of being changed into another form”.

My spirit, hands down, led me here. And I totally understand why. I’ll have more to report on this shortly.

In the meantime, the biggest Aloha vibes to you.
