The secret ingredient to manifesting: Detachment. Learn how.

One of the best things about being a Kinesiologist and working with clients is that I learn – constantly. It’s a pretty amazing privilege.

So, the other day I’m chatting with my client and he comes out with ‘Detachment is really about accepting that it’s ok it hasn’t changed – YET‘.

YET!

It was such a massive light bulb moment for me. You see, I love talking about manifesting. It excites me. For me, manifesting is being a true contender in this game of life. It’s playing with the vibrational frequencies of allowing goodness into your life. Know what I mean?

Mastin Kipp wrote in a blog once that the manifestation process is: ‘Ask, believe, act, detach, receive’. I’m all good with educating clients about asking, believing, acting, BUT detaching. It’s slightly more difficult.

In my own sessions detachment often comes up. Detach from the outcome, Surrender, Let go. And of course when I do these things, life responds as I would like it to.

And so when my client came out with… ‘Detachment is really about accepting that it’s ok it hasn’t changed – YET’. I got pretty excited. It was the perfect way to explain it. 

We all want what we want. We all cause ourselves pain perceiving we don’t have what we want. And so this is where understanding detachment makes life that little easier.

Detachment looks like this…

  1. Acceptance. Wherever you’re experiencing resistance and feeling like things aren’t moving along exactly as you desire, ask yourself where can I accept a little more? Mastin Kipp recently wrote…. ‘So today, in your life, whether it be financially, romantically, emotionally, spiritually or any aspect of your life, if there is chaos or change, just decide that The Uni-verse is working on your behalf and choose to assign a constructive and positive meaning to what’s happening in your life. Ask The Uni-verse to reveal the Grace of this moment to you. See the opportunity instead of the fear; decide that you have the power to not only make the best of this situation, but to actually make a better life for yourself BECAUSE of this situation’.
  1. Be ok that it hasn’t changed YET. Nothing is permanent. Nothing. The only constant is change. Understand this and not only does it allow your experience to pass through you with grace and ease, but it also opens you up to the next thing coming. The thing that hasn’t arrived YET. It allows you to get out of your own way and enjoy exactly where you are at! Cause really, that’s all we need to be concerned with.

This is what we do in a session. We get clear on what needs to be accepted and we clear the blocks preventing this from happening. As a result we experience life AS IT IS and we get to remain optimistic that it’s coming our way.

Detachment truly is where all the power lies.
